Among the five principal National Parks Serengeti is most well known since it’s the source of the annual migration, which starts during December-March each year. Trailing behind them are the carnivores, the lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas besides the vultures. The Ngorongoro Crater is another outstanding National Park as it’s home to some 30,000 animals at the bottom of the crater. The Tarangire National park is well known for its large elephant herds, probably the largest ones in Africa. The National Park at Lake Manyara will need to be on your itinerary for holiday Tanzania since it’s here that you will see the spellbinding spectacle of the tree-climbing lions! Arusha National Park, the smallest among the National Parks is worth a visit due to its beauty.
