A Veil For a Corn

"Fatima, this is the first loaf your Father had in 3 days,"

one day Rasul said to her, thanking her

when she brought him the only food she had.

Fatima is a person of giving and sacrificing

Once Rasul ask Salman - his close companion -

to bring a newly embraced person

to a moslem home - and find for him

food of refection.

Both finally came to Fatima’s house.

How sad she was

the man starved

food to share she didn’t have

days she was herself without

Fatima on tears

"I can’t let my guest leave without easing his starve"

She then give her veil to Salman

asked him to bring it to a Jew’s merchant

for some corn that later she grind it by her own hand

and made the food for her guest the indigent.

She was for days without meal

but not a single corn for herself she concealed.

Rasul himself know her condition

sometime he would come to her,

shared his loaf and gave her consolation.

It was said

that she made Prayer whenever the starving come,

had her dzikr when its tiresome.
