The Reward for patience..
GHAZALAH JABIR, or better known as Ummi Syarik was one of the earliest followers of prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
She was a diligent Muslim women. One day, the Qureish enemies arrested her and tied her onto a camel.In the middle of the blazing sun, she was beaten and tortured without any food or drink.
Despite the great test, Ummi Syarik remained calm.She prayed to Allah because she knew that only Allah could help her. "O Allah, Most Knowing , please help me.If I die, let me die with Your blessing."Ummi Sharik prayed. After three days of brutal torture, she became really week.
She could not even blink an eye. How surprised were the Qureish guards when the next day she appeared fresh and lively. Beside her was an emptied water container.They were even more surprised to find that her hands were still tightly tied.
Amazed, the Qureish guards asked for some explaination. "It is Allah who has revived my strength and vigour. He answer the prayers of His oppressed servants."Ummi Syarik explained. The remarkable incident mades them realize their fault. "If you were true, so would be your religion." the Qureish guards said. And soon afterwards, the Qureish guards (converted to) Islam.
